Analysing the Characters in Step by Wicked Step

Robbo is a wise boy. He realizes everything that happens around him. He knows very well that Callie could not get along with their stepfather. He also understands that Roy is not happy with the way his family treats him, especially Callie. Only Robbo realizes that when Roy left the house for the first time, he has not planned to return if not for Dumpa.

Besides, Robbo is also a brave boy. At the Old Harwick Hall, he is the first to enter the secret room. He is so brave to speak the truth about the family situation with his mother. He stresses to his mother that Callie wants to live with her dad, and that it is the best decision for everybody including Roy and Dumpa.

Pixie is a smart girl. She is the first to realize what the five of them have in common. She is also brilliant at reading. She does not like it when Hetty moves into her bedroom, so she thinks of creative ways to get rid of Hetty.
Besides, Pixie is also a brave girl. She is not scared to express her thoughts. She tells Lucy exactly what she thinks of her and her 'ratty, squabbling' daughters. Being honest is good for her because later, she does not have to pretend anymore. Everyone knows how she feels, and she knows how others feel.
